Custom Metal Fabrication of a Stainless Steel Trash Rack for the Construction Industry

Stainless Steel Trash RackKnown for providing top-notch metal fabrication services, Shoemaker Welding & Machine Shop, Inc. was contracted by a client from the construction industry to manufacture the trash rack, shown above, used within a construction site application. We combined several of our advanced services, including plasma cutting, bending, drilling, and MIG welding, to machine this component from 304 stainless steel. Our custom metal fabrication machinery met tight tolerances down to ± 1/16". The finished part measured 30" x 30", with a 3" space placed between each window.

After the trash rack was manufactured, we deburred all welds, providing the unit with a smooth surface finish. Both dimensional and visual inspections were performed before we shipped the completed component to our client's facility in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania within a 3-day lead time. Serving as a great example of our custom metal fabrication services, this trash rack fulfilled all of our client's high expectations for quality craftsmanship.
