Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication of Stainless Steel Polished Bar Top for the Restaurant Industry

Using our advanced metal fabrication operations, Shoemaker Welding & Machine Shop, Inc. engineers built this 38' ft stainless steel bar top, pictured above, for a restaurant located in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. By combining several of our advanced services, including shearing, notching, forming, and TIG welding, we were able to construct this part. Our sheet metal fabrication services fulfilled customer specifications and met tolerances down to ± .015".

The bar top measured 38' in length and 28" in width, and possessed a 14-gauge thickness. Using both our electric disc sander and dynafile polishing tools, we provided this 175-lb. unit with a smooth finish. After fully inspecting the part for any flaws, we then packaged and delivered the completed item to our customer's restaurant. Our efficient metal fabrication services were able to construct this stainless steel bar top to print specifications within a short, 3-week turnaround period.
